What is the 150 Squadron RAF Research Project?

The 150 Squadron RAF Research Project was founded in March 1998 in order to achieve several goals:

  • to locate veterans and next of kin of 150 Squadron world wide
  • to gather significant primary historical material on 150 Squadron RAF
  • to create an archive for 150 Squadron records and archives
  • to write a history of the Squadron between January 1943 and October 1944
  • While the history has been written called "Always Ahead: The Search for 150 Squadron" we are still interested in any information, pictures, etc. which represent the squadron at war in the Middle East and Italy.
