The Perth Kiwanis Foundation was incorporated 30 December 1992. The objectives of the Corporation are to receive and maintain a fund or funds, and to apply from time to time, all or part thereof for religious, charitable or educational purposes within the Perth area. The foundation is administered by the incumbent president and board of directors of our Kiwanis club. It is subject to the Charities Accounting Act and the Charities Gifts Act.

Currently we give four yearly bursaries to qualifying High School Students and we have sponsored a local student on a United Nations project in South America.

Funding for the Foundation comes from donations; including donations made in memory of deceased Kiwanis members. In addition, our Kiwanis Club donates the interest from an invested fund to support the student bursaries, as required. It is therefore self sustaining and supports our Kiwanis Objectives.
